The world of an indie game developer is surely an exciting one.There are days filled with sense of accomplishment, building new features, designing new characters and bringing ideas to life, a feeling that no fake boasting of teams and managers can match. And then there are days filled with failures, when a feature doesn’t turn out exactly as you thought it would be, and then there are bugs that are too shy to come out. So what is it exactly that helps an developer to keep going other than the hope that ‘one day he would start making enough to run his own studio’.
For me it’s happy costumers, or my game players. Some times you can read between their words, the joy and thrill games are bringing to them.

Some of them ask for more updates and next part of game. That really help me to keep coming up with new ideas and working on them.
And yes there are unhappy ones as well. I prefer to turn a blind eye to them unless they are really making a valid point or reporting a bug.
Coming this monday, I would start working on next game. Idea is almost ready, still giving myself a break, before I start developing next awesome thing. Note to self –
